Subversive Book Club: They Called Us Enemy In-Person
Come discuss George Takei's graphic novel They Called Us Enemy. Banned from several school libraries, the autobiographical novel explores the actor's experience as a boy during the internment of Japanese Americans in World War II.
The book is available at UWEC and can also be requested from UW libraries.
We also have access to the e-graphic novel through Overdrive.
